Peter Voulkos was an American artist of Greek descent. He is widely known for his Abstract Expressionist ceramic sculptures, which crossed the traditional divide between ceramic crafts and fine art.

 

Voulkos' initial involvement with Artworks Foundry began in 1986 when he elected to cast some of his work originally created in clay into the bronze medium. Since then, he became a frequent client, and all his following bronze works were casted here.
